This shop, “\u5e78\u7e54Shiori<\/span>,” is a kimono dressing shop in Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The store’s name “Shiori” conveys the meaning of bringing happiness together <\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also has the meaning behind it being like a bookmark that you can insert into your heart on important days in your life.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The roots of the kimono as worn today are said to date back to the Heian period\uff08794 to 1185 AD\uff09<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After going through various eras, by the Edo period \uff081600 to 1868 AD\uff09the kimono had taken on the form we see today.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In modern times, kimonos have come to be worn as a traditional Japanese fashion.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have over 15 years of experience in kimono dressing, and I usually work at wedding venues dressing bridal kimonos, as well as dressing guests and doing their hair and makeup.

After graduating from university, she started working in the beauty industry.

Around this time, I became interested in kimonos and learned how to wear them at a kimono dressing class.
After working at a recycled and antique kimono shop, I opened my own kimono shop.
At the same time, I worked as a bridal hairdresser and learned proper bridal dressing, hair and makeup.
I am currently married and have two children in elementary school with my husband.<\/span>
